THE STANDING RAMEN BAR
THE STANDING RAMEN BAR // Osaka, Japan // 2017
In the middle of Osaka's busy Tsuruhashi station, this standing ramen bar is a quick refuel stop for commuters.
"Ramen for the Japanese is what bread is to the French. It is a staple and when I am there I can't get enough. I love the casual scene of standing ramen bars, squished into the tiniest shops around cities of Japan. I snapped these two anonymous diners having a quick lunch, and I like the way the curtains allow them to have a private meal, even though everyone on the outside can see in." - Leigh
