THE SOBA SHOP *Limited Print*
THE SOBA SHOP // Fukuoka, Japan // 2016
A man peers into a noodle shop in Fukuoka, famous for their zaru soba – a basket of chilled soba noodles with a soy-based dipping sauce.
"Quaint family run restaurants are my favourite type of restaurant anywhere in the world. The lady who served us in the very traditional soba noodle house had her quiet, wide eyed baby strapped to her back while she was shuffling around tending to customers. Everyone is courteous of others in Japan, even the babies. This picture always reminds me of that lovely moment." - Leigh
